Big Barra Fishing Tours

Dennis came to the Northern Territory in 1976 and never left. Dennis has been fishing since he was a young man and continued that passion after arriving in Darwin. Dennis and Wife Wendy started Big Barra Fishing in 1991, and started at Endyalgout Island in 1992.

Dennis has fished extensively in the Territory since arriving here, Daly River, Shady Camp, South and East Alligator Rivers and Corroboree Billabong including Endyalgout Island and Mini Mini System.

Simon Sten has been fishing since the age of 5 when he sat on Mums knee and fishing Endyalgout Island since the age of 8. Simon has been guiding for the last 3 years. 'Give him a bucket of fresh tap water and he will catch fish' has often been said about Simon.

Fished all over and can honestly say that Endyalgout — Big barra has no equal for variety, Barra and many varied fish types. Camp was excellent for such a remote situation, food was quality. Stenny, Simon, Buff & Dean were most helpful in the learning process. I would not hesitate to recommend the tour to fishing lovers.
