From March to May, floodplains of the Northern Territory feed the last of the wet season's rain into creeks and rivers. At these places and rock bars the Barramundi gather in numbers to feed on small bait fish, prawns etc. leaving the floodplains. Fish of all sizes can be caught at these creek mouths and narrow waterways with breathtaking scenery on Shady Camp and the South Alligator River floodplains.
